Road salt is the biggest problem we deal with here. Trucks treat Highway 15 and the local arteries all season, and the spray carries onto storefront glass, entry doors, and lower floors of office buildings. Left alone, that salt film bonds to the surface and dulls the glass permanently.
- Winter salt and de-icing spray that fogs street-facing windows
- Ice and freeze-thaw cycles that push grit into the frames and tracks
- Spring pollen and construction dust from Blainville's newer developments
- Summer humidity that bakes water spots and mineral deposits into the glass
- Fall leaves and organic debris clogging sills and drainage channels
Spring is our busiest stretch for exactly this reason. Most commercial clients book a full reset in April or May, then keep a lighter schedule through the rest of the year.
